Having worked with many Brides and Mums over the years, this October it was Rachel’s turn to create bespoke Hats & Fascinators for her own wedding day. She made pieces for both Mums, both bridesmaids, both sisters-in-law, a number of guests – and of course herself. “I would like to thank all of my Clients for their support and understanding during the run up to my wedding day, during which time I know I was a little more difficult to get hold of than usual! We had the most fantastic day and all of your good wishes were warmly appreciated.” Rachel
Unfortunately, our great British summer got the better of us and, due to torrential rain and severe weather warnings from the Met. Office, Great Ormond Street’s Hadrian’s Wall trek had to be postponed this year. The trek has been rescheduled for June 2008 so Rachel will be fundraising again in the new year and keeping her fingers crossed for a weather forecast more befitting of an English summer!
