Baby Bubbles for Rachel in 2010!

Rachel is expecting her first child in May and, as a result, won’t be able to accept bespoke Hat or Fascinator commissions this year.

"Our baby is due two weeks before Ascot and right in the middle of the 2010 wedding season so I’m afraid I won’t be undertaking any commissions for my Clients this year. I will miss creating all those wonderful pieces throughout the year but will be back at work (with an extra little pair of helping hands!) in early 2011 and look forward to seeing you all next year.

Please note that I am still undertaking the programme of talks and events that I have already committed to for 2010 so perhaps my bump and I will see you sometime in 2010 after all!"

Rosie Bubbles talks Hats

Throughout 2009 Rachel undertook a programme of talks to various groups including W.I.’s and Church groups, a programme which continues in 2010, in earnest!

The talk is based on the history of Hats and Fascinators, how Hat wearing has changed throughout the centuries, essential Hat facts including what you need to know to choose the right style of Hat or Fascinator to suit you, how Hats are made and the do’s and don’ts of Hat etiquette! Rachel also brings along a number of Hats and Fascinators for you to try on after the talk, as well as her trusted tape measure so she can measure your head for you and advise how to find a Hat that actually fits you!

Rachel makes no charge for giving the talk, apart from nominal travelling expenses, but Rachel does ask that the group make a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospitals Children’s Charity, the amount of which is entirely at the individual discretion of the group.
